Rationale
The Cosmos Primary School Fee Policy is intended to ensure that the school can provide high-quality education and a supportive environment for all students. The Policy provides a clear guide to the collection and management of fees, thereby ensuring the financial sustainability of the school.
The rationale behind the policy is to allow for:
- Transparency: By communicating the fees structure at the start of each academic year, we aim to provide clarity and avoid any potential misunderstandings. This is crucial for fostering trust and maintaining positive relationships with parents and guardians.
- Financial Sustainability: The policy ensures the necessary funds are collected to maintain our facilities and infrastructure, pay our staff, and invest in the educational resources required to deliver a high-standard learning experience.
- Equity: The policy is designed to be fair and consistent, making certain that all parents and guardians understand their obligations and have the necessary information to plan financially.
Policy:
- The fee structure consists of tuition fees, admission fees, caution deposit, and other fees.
- There will be a consistent increase of 10% in tuition fees, admission fees, and caution deposit every academic year, (rounded off to the nearest 100).
- No concessions will be made for any fees.
- The school management committee should aim to provide scholarships by allocating budgets when possible and/or raising funds.
